Coach-Led, every class

Every session is programmed and led by a certified coach. We don't count reps — we read mechanics, scale on the spot, and push the line you can actually hold today. Move well first. Move heavy soon enough.

Fourteen years in CrossFit. Eight years building this box. A molecular biologist turned full-time coach, Sandy is one of the few CrossFit Level 3 Coaches in India — the highest field certification the methodology awards.

He started training in 2012, when CrossFit was barely a whisper in Hyderabad. CrossFit Mend opened in 2018 as a small coached room with a stubborn idea: every age, every background, same floor, same standard. Eight years later, the room is full and the standard has not moved.

Sandy still personally writes the programming, runs the fundamentals on-ramp, and handles nutrition check-ins for members who want them. Once the timer beeps, he's the buddy who'll grab coffee with you.

Do you offer trial sessions?
Your first class is on us — coached, no pressure. After that, additional trial sessions are ₹800 each if you'd like a few more before signing up. A No-Sweat Intro (a quieter 1-on-1 walkthrough with a coach) is available on request.
Is your gym suitable for beginners?
Yes — most of our regulars walked in as beginners. Every workout is scalable to where you are today, and every class is coach-led. You'll learn the movements first, then learn how to load them.
Do I need to book a class?
No booking system — walk in anytime during open hours. If you're coming in for the first time, a quick WhatsApp ahead lets us have a coach ready for you.
What should I bring?
Comfortable training clothes, a water bottle, and flat-soled or cross-training shoes. Running shoes are fine to start. We have everything else — bars, plates, rigs, chalk.
What types of programs do you provide?
Coached CrossFit group classes built around constantly varied functional movement — strength, gymnastics, and conditioning programmed together. Personal Training is available separately for people who want 1-on-1 work or specific goals.
Do you provide personal training?
Yes. 1-on-1 sessions are available with our coaches — useful for rebuilding from an injury, ironing out specific movements, or working toward a specific goal. Pricing depends on the coach you work with.
How long is each session?
Each class is roughly 60 minutes — warm-up, skill or strength work, the workout itself, and a cool-down. You're in and out in an hour.
What's the difference between CrossFit and just lifting?
CrossFit is constantly varied functional movement at high intensity — barbell strength, gymnastics, conditioning, all programmed together. Lifting is one slice of that. Both make you stronger; CrossFit also makes you fitter.
Can I train for Hyrox at CrossFit Mend?
Yes. CrossFit programming overlaps heavily with what Hyrox demands — barbell strength, farmers carries, burpees, running intervals, SkiErg, rowing, and wall-balls all show up in regular classes. Members preparing for Hyrox races in Hyderabad use our coached classes as their base, and one of our coaches will adjust accessory work and pacing closer to a race date. Bring your race date in — we'll talk through Hyrox prep on WhatsApp.
How soon can I expect results?
Strength and conditioning gains show up within a few weeks if you're consistent (3–4 sessions a week). Body composition and skill work take longer — that's where the program design pays off.
Is there an age limit?
No hard limit. Our oldest regular started in his 60s. We coach kids and teens on weekends separately — message us for the youth schedule.
Do you provide nutrition guidance?
Basic guidance available.
Are there any ongoing offers or discounts?
We don't run discounts or limited-time offers. Pricing reflects what it costs to deliver coached classes consistently. Quarterly, half-year, and annual memberships exist for people who want to lock in a lower rate — never as a trap.
